Tour Info

Join us Thursday, September 7th from 6 to 9 pm to kick off the 12th Annual Sac Open Studios with a free Launch Party featuring local eats, drinks, kids activities, live art, and music. Meet participating Sac Open Studios artists and view over 100 artworks installed salon-style in Verge’s classroom!

Coinciding with this event is the opening of our fall exhibition, Not Ready to Make Nice: Guerrilla Girls in the Art World and Beyond, curated by Neysa Page-Lieberman of Columbia College, Chicago. This multimedia, expansive exhibition illustrates that the work of the anonymous, feminist-activist Guerrilla Girls is as vital and revolutionary as ever. Verge members and donors to our Generosity Campaign can check in at the member desk for their complimentary drink ticket and other perks. Guerrilla Girls merchandise will also be available.

Special thanks to our presenting sponsor BLICK Art Materials for their ongoing support of Sac Open Studios!

Featuring: Live painting by Tyson Anthony Roberts, hands on art activities for kids, pizza by Pizza Supreme Being, and DJ MC Ham playing tunes.
